1. Who We Are

GymHealth.AI ("we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered fitness coaching platform operated by GymHealth.AI, Inc. Our platform is accessible at gymhealth.ai and connects clients with certified fitness trainers and AI-powered coaching tools.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when creating an account or using our services:

• Name, email address, and password
• Fitness profile data: age, gender, height, weight, fitness goals, experience level
• Workout logs, activity records, and progress tracking data
• Food logs and nutrition data
• AI coach conversation history
• Trainer booking and session information
• Payment information (processed securely via Stripe — we never store card numbers)

3. Wearable Device Data

With your explicit consent, GymHealth.AI may access data from connected wearable devices including Google Fit, Fitbit, WHOOP, and Garmin. This data may include:

• Daily step count and distance
• Calories burned and active minutes
• Heart rate and resting heart rate
• Sleep duration and sleep performance scores
• Recovery scores and HRV (Heart Rate Variability)
• Strain and workout data

Wearable data is used solely to personalize your AI coaching experience. We do not sell wearable data to third parties. You may disconnect any wearable device at any time from Settings → Connected Devices, which immediately revokes our access to that data.

• To provide and personalize AI fitness coaching and workout recommendations
• To calculate nutrition targets and generate meal plans
• To track your fitness progress over time
• To connect you with certified personal trainers
• To process payments for trainer sessions and subscriptions
• To send service-related communications (never marketing without consent)
• To improve platform features and AI coaching quality

5. AI Coach — Third-Party AI Service

GymHealth.AI uses Anthropic's Claude AI to power the AI coaching experience. When you interact with the AI Coach, the following data is transmitted to Anthropic's servers to generate your personalized coaching responses:

• Your fitness profile: age, gender, height, weight, fitness goals, and experience level
• Workout history and recent activity logs
• Nutrition targets and food logs
• Step counts and wearable data (if connected)
• Your conversation messages with the AI Coach

This data is transmitted solely for the purpose of generating coaching responses. Anthropic does not use your personal fitness data to train AI models. Anthropic's data processing is governed by their Privacy Policy, which provides equivalent data protection standards. You can review Anthropic's privacy practices at anthropic.com/privacy.

By using the AI Coach feature, you consent to this data sharing with Anthropic. You may opt out at any time by discontinuing use of the AI Coach feature.

6. AI Coach Conversations

Your conversations with the GymHealth.AI coach are stored to provide continuity between sessions and to improve the quality of coaching recommendations. Conversation history is associated with your account and is never shared with other users or sold to third parties. Conversations may be reviewed by our team solely for quality assurance and safety purposes.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Anthropic (AI Coach): Your fitness profile, workout history, nutrition data, and conversation messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate personalized coaching responses. Anthropic does not use this data to train AI models. See Section 5 for full details.
• Trainers you book: Your fitness profile and relevant goals are shared with trainers you connect with on our platform
• Supabase: Our database provider stores your account and fitness data on secure, encrypted servers
• Stripe: Processes subscription and trainer session payments. We never store card numbers
• Vercel: Hosts our platform infrastructure
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure database storage via Supabase with row-level security, and server-side handling of all API keys and OAuth tokens. Wearable access tokens are stored locally on your device and transmitted only over encrypted connections.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (such as payment records which are retained for 7 years per financial regulations).

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of non-essential data processing

10. Children's Privacy

GymHealth.AI is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.

11. Cookies

We use localStorage and session storage in your browser to maintain your login state, cached fitness data, and app preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

12. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites (such as trainer social profiles or exercise video links). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
